For the first Moneyfair, the MIF Organisation chose a location in the heart of Europe: Maastricht and its MECC Congress center. It turned out to be the right choice. During our second Moneyfair in Maastricht, we are proud to present a unique 0 Euro banknote of the city of Maastricht with a limited edition of 5000 pieces. The banknote has been printed at an official Euro banknote printing company.
Maastricht and the Euro have a historical connection. The treaty of the Euro was signed by European leaders in 1992 in the city and former Minister of Finance Gerrit Zalm got his first Euro banknote at a Maastricht ATM in 2002. The 0 Euro banknote of Maastricht will only be availlable during the MIF Moneyfair (November 9-10) with a price of 2 Euro with a maximum of 1 banknote per person.
